A short collection of work stories. But first a word from our sponsor. Moving forward Im naming names because remembering or picking nicknames is a pain and hinders the process. So...Getting back to the stories:

Friday was a special day. I was just sitting there doing my thing when Trinidad walked by and left me a small unexpected gift and a smile.

Friday was also "special" in another way. The leaves are changing and so its sweater and tights weather. With it came a bit of comedy. I was wearing a red knit sweater dress. Its hem was slightly above the knee. And I accented my look with the aloha flower affixed to my headset. Brian came in and asked about how it was attached. I whipped the things off and in doing so my glasses flew off into the darkness beneath my desk. I didnt hear them land. So im crawling rather indecently on the floor feeling for them. Lord. I dont find them and, stiffling my panic, I asked Don S if he could come over to my desk to help me. He sort of refuses. Im like" I NEED your help Don please come over here" grumble "I dont know how I can help you" I suspect he thought my issue was computer based. Anyway, I ask him if he sees my glasses. Turns out he couldnt help me as the had landed perfectly in my tote bag. Lord. And as the day wore on I developed some static cling as I absent mindedly rubbed my hands on my legs throughout the day and by the time I was leaving the fight to keep it decent while shuffling to the car was on.

Friday wasnt the only day for clothing mishaps, though this one had the potential to be far more embarrassing. I stopped in the restroom and almost left with my skirt hiked up and tucked into my tights in back. Thank goodness I wasnt alone and a coworker caught it before I paraded out onto the floor. *Head palm*

Im still working on my video project. Ive stared making my holiday lists and presents. Tomorrow we are having dinner at Willows. Someone rummaged through the cars last night.
