Only once in a blue moon do I have such difficulties posting my blogs. One blog written. Pages and pages. It didnt save. Ahhh crap. So, to save on time and energy, I decide to go vlog style only when I went to publish did I find that the video somehow became corupted. Third time's the charm? This attempt may be a little more cut and dry than my previous attempts. With all the time it takes for perfectly flowy fancy words , and with the time Ive already spent... Hell its lucky you get so much as a "hello" on here today.

Ok sooo.. I had a few customer stories to highlight. One about an old guy who called in for parts for a tow behind mower. At the end of the call he asked if I wanted to hear a story. When possible I love to listen to stories when opertunities to do so present themselves. Anyway, he proceeds to tell me that he wife dies not to long ago. She had dementia and those last years had thier challenges. But the both had 0 turn riding mowers and in those final years, thier most cherished activity was mowing the property together. He would lead the way around the yard and she would follow right behind. After her death he bought the tow behind as a functional memorial peice. It was bitter sweet and dear.

Another caller and I were waiting for a page to load and so we got to chatting about the weather. And she asks if I want to hear a story. Well, of course, so she goes on. One day she was on her way to the mailbox at the end of a long driveway. As she proceeded a feeling of dread and panic began to settle in on her. Something was terribly wrong. She could feel it but not pin point the cause. The feeling was overwhelming. She wanted to high tail it back into the house but didnt give in the the fear. When she reached the mailbox, it dawned on her. The cause for her anxiety was this: There was no wind blowing. She lives in South Dakota where the wind is such a constant companion its presense is barely noticed until its gone.

Those would be my two most recent stand out calls. Other than that, the calls just sort of drone on along.

There has not been much in the way office shananigans to report. The call volume has been heavy so there has not been a lot of time to play, but we did get a break from the phones last week for a few hours for the annual employee appreciation picnic event. Greg stopped in on his way to the dentist and said hello. In my fashion, somehow I ended up in a position to keep the boss's kids entertianed. At the ""dunk tank"" which consist simply of a small bucket mounted on a small frame perched over a lawn chair. The dancehall dj music kept me bopping as I observed the festivities from the edge.

I saw a dog at Costco that looked just like Jack. Stripes. Face. Everything with one exception. Where Jacks back is level with my knee, this dog was level with my hip. Eeks.I dont think they will get that big but I swear they have grown 1/2 inch since we adopted them.

The big 25 and 50 are coming up. It has had me reflecting on the past year and lifetimes lived during. Holy Shit... or should I say "Divine Defication" ... Sidestory: ran across a death metal band out of Nevda City on insta with that name. I followed ... because the name... anyway after a few years I realized that this dearly beloved fellow named Sage, with whom I sat beneath the stars with at a few CA AFA campouts was a member of the band. Just a nice memory and good to see him on stage once more.

What was I talking about? Oh..Reminiscing. Speaking of AFA.. I am no longer a member. My focus and energy has been away from the Folk and the Hof however, despite my efforts at trying to stay connected, I ha e not had the desire in the last 5 years. It was time to let that go.

Oh my... the time. Off to work I go. Ive started to a flower to my headset on Fridays. There is an effort to change the culture.. its across departments. I never know when it is Friday and I never remeber to hawaii it up so this allows me to participate in the Aloha spirit without major lifestyle change.

Anyway.. more reminising and stories coming up. There is a lot to reflect on.
