Jamin through January

To think January is wrapping up. When was the last time I posted? I hardly can remember. I have some catching up to do.

Connor turned 21. He celebrated over a bite and a game with some of his Magic group.

Greg whipped up some jolly rancher inspired drinks. Connor took his first time drinking very responsibly and it didnt thrill him much. Things only got a little blurry.

He recieved his diploma.

And he started at the real College. This has meant a drastic cut to his hours at work and a step down from his "managerial" duties. Max's sister goes to the same school connor is going to and so he immediately has had someone to pal around the campus with.

Work has been tedious. Not that I mind much. Seeing as Im not having calls come into me randomly, I can listen to music while prepping paperwork. Lately its been classic surf rock. It keeps me awake and engaged but not lost in lyrics ... at least not too much. We are quickly wrapping up getting customers set up with shops to do the work. Then on to the next recall.

How was dance class and dog lessons? They both fell through for various reasons. Well then what about game night? This month work connor had a little get together. It was the same night as Gregs annual work hockey night. We each enjoyed our events.

It might not sound like January was all that eventfull. But it sure flew and the days seemed very full.

In news of the Willow, her classes started as well. However, it is not going as smoothly as con's transition. She feels herself fragmenting and is disassociating and its carrying over into normal life. I wish she didnt have to struggle so much.

In just a few days mom and daddy dan are coming out for a visit. It will be a slow easy visit but it will be nice. The house is generally ready for company.

And mid Feb I am taking a Saturday to have a long overdue girls day out with Aimee. Feb promises to be a very eventful month.

We had another one of those glitches happen. A couple of years ago just after our cross country trip, greg lost his driving sun glasses that help eliminate the glare of car lights. They dissapeared out of the car. After 6 or so months of tearing the car apart looking for them I picked him up a second pair. This past weekend I was giving the car a quick pick up before going to get willow and Max for shopping. I opened the front passager side and a pair was sitting on the seat as anticipated. I openned the rear passenger side and the o

ther pair was sitting on the floor mat. Wait ... what?! There are strange things afoot.
