Opal Anniversary

24 is the opal anniversary. Upon hearing this I turned to Greg and said "But aren't they all? " Opal ranks right up there with Amber in my personal rating of gemstone appeal.

If you had not already guessed, today marks 24 years of marriage. And what a full adventure filled 24 its been. If those stories were written down they could fill a book case or perhaps a small library . Im not going to recount them but flipping through ... damn.

Has it all been perfect? No. Has it all been fun? No.

But

It has been transformative, educational and entertaining.

Would I change anything? Maybe in times of undue stress I have wished that the course had been different but in hindsight, I am grateful for all the lessons learned and experiences had and cant think of a thing I would change.

Greg suggested thqt on our 25th that we return to the coast in pirate attire. I gather the purpose is to thank the ocean for blessing us with such a bountiful booty of a life. Either that or its to prove hes now confident enough to sport a puffy sleeved pirate shirt.

In other news, Willow has been consistently demonstrating the ability to normally regulate her emotional states. This is excellent news and gives me a sense of peace where she is concerned. Onward and upward.
