My reaction to the potatoes (accompanied with a spike in heat and humidity) was more intense than I had speculated in my last post. By monday evening my knee became super swollen... hobble, hobble, hobble... the inflamation travelled to my hips and midback. This is what my response does, time after time. I pushed through the discomfort by keeping busy by attending to the clearing out and organizing of several closets. For the first time, since we moved in, I am feeling fairly well settled. The house is almost in perfect order. Which offers me a sense of relief and accomplishment to an extent I have not felt in all my adult years. Thankfully, by Friday, the symptoms were easing and (with the exception of a blinding migraine on Sunday which took me down hard) I am now feeling quite my normal self.
My son is updating his wardrobe on account of his recent drop in sizes. This is the first time he has every really shown any interest in what he is wearing. He has been responsibly shopping for looks that embrace his character as well as his physique. Leather jackets and high necked sweaters seem to be right up his alley. It is wonderful to see him take possesion of how he presents himself to the world. My son has had his glow up! This morning we had a little photo shoot.

Ain't he handsome?!?!
