I stopped taking my ADHD meds about a month ago. I wasn't so sure that I was getting any benefit from them. In looking back between my last training session and the one previous, I recognize that they were making a small improvement. However, I also was able to recognize when I started to drift and was able to bring myself back into focus. So do I need to go back on the meds? I think not. And instead have added some mushroom blends (that I had used before as suggested by my naturopathic dr. ) to my routine which seems more effective overall in terms of both focus and energy.
Speaking of my naturopathic dr., My old one has left the practice and so I have been assigned another dr. I wasn't sure what to expect. My old one shamed me a little due to my reluctance to get the jab and I was none to keen on that. This dr. saw the record of it and decided to scrub it from my file. "It irrelevant now." she said. I'm already happy with the switch.
In other news, Greg has an interview scheduled for Wednesday. This opportunity was not sought after but just landed on his lap. We will see.
I went out on a girls date with Wendy, a friend from work. We went to the salt cave therapy room at a place in essex. Essentially it is a room full of Himalayan sea salt. The walls are salt. The floor is salt. and they pump salt in through the air. I expected to taste salt on the air or on my lips but could not. Going in I thought that it was a bit of a fad therapy. Both Wendy and I fell asleep in our lounge chairs. It was relaxing. And I could sense an electrical zapping (sizzling) at the end of my energetic field. Sometimes a whole patch (Rather than just the edge of my field) would lite up and sizzle out as the ions of the room neutralized it. It was fascinating to experience. It was not until the next morning, however, that I truly appreciated the experience. I woke up feeling like I had gotten a nebulizer treatment. My airways were fully open. I knew that Halotherapy was supposed to be great for allergies/asthma and other lung issues. But seeing is believing. Next I need to get mom into salt! Anyway, we also went and had Thia. As long as it is not spicy, I can eat Pad Thia without any issue so that was nice. We are planning to make a trip to the "spa" a monthly event.
My brother is going to be a grandfather. How weird. I mean I know I could be one too, but I am thankful that I am not. But that has to be exciting for him
There isn't too much else going on. The dogs are still puppies and require constant attention.
On re-examination, these mushroom supplements may not be as effective as I would hope. I showed up at work a day early in my costume.

Which worked out fine seeing as "I am a fried mother board. My clock is not set properly." I dressed up again today .. Only I had more fun with my makeup (cuicuits are hidden everywhere!) and carring along the previous theme I determined it was Christmas and brought presents of chocolate. (And some special mugwart from the garden for Wendy)

A few others dressed up. Barbie and ken were here (even though thats how they normally look.) And so was Macho Man. I fingered his fur. I might have to go check out his footwear next.
Ps. Happy Real Nevada Day!
